I am really excited to start these seeds and plant them. I am so glad I bought them.
When I took this course, I thought It would be a someday thing that I would get to build a new garden because I was a full- time care giver to my mother in law. She passed in March and I was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 weeks later. My old garden was ground level and going to be hard for me to work. My husband and I went through everything I learned at KGA and he thought why not. I had been gardening for most of my life, but I really liked what Nicole was teaching: Raised beds, organic soil, organic send, beauty. I wanted that. We just finished building our KGA garden and it is beautiful. Because of our late start, we may not have the garden we saw in the class, but it will be productive and we will get a better start next year.. Watch for pictures on the Gardenary FB page.
This was a wonderful course on planning and spacing out the plantings for a garden. I always struggle to know how to make it look good and this course really helped!
Last year I was put in my first garden - it was a good first attempt, but I was ready for more so this year I signed up for the Kitchen Garden Academy and I'm hooked! I love Nicole's thoughtful approach to planning and the week-by-week nature of the course. It's loaded with great information but more importantly, her hands on approach made me really feel like I could do it. I'm eight weeks in and already harvesting and learning more than I could have imagined!
I am a pretty avid vegetable gardener, and I thought that I knew a lot already, but I ended up learning so much with this course. It is definitely worth it for both beginners and experienced gardeners. I loved the live calls and I’ll definitely be watching the videos again and again!
